HAPPY day!!!!

I always tell the children it is
a HAPPY day when everyone
(who was suppose to come) is at school!

Hazel was our
invocation leader

On chapel days
we have either a very short
Jesus time OR just sing
our bible song!

Read Read Read the bible......

(all the kids said they can sing the
rest for you at home...they have really
learned this song well and do
a great job!)

I showed the pictures of
Abraham, Sarah and
baby Isaac
and we did a quick review

Then we went outside

We put boots on
just in case
but the playground
was fairly
dry

CHAPEL

Mrs Helmkamp
led chapel today

She asked for a
few
volunteers

She asked each volunteer
to read the part of the bible she
opened to....

All the children said they
couldn't

She told us that
A LONG time ago
even adults couldn't read the bible
if they couldn't read Greek

A special man, Martin Luther, understood how important
it is for everyone to have an opportunity to read the bible.
so he translated it in a language more people
could read!!

We have children's bibles
(with pictures)
to help kids
"read"the bible too
