We learned about Abraham

and Sarah(and baby Isaac)

Sometimes waiting is hard

Abraham and Sarah had to wait a 

VERY long time but

they believed in GOD

and God always keeps his

promises

They had a baby boy when

they were both very old

SINCE it was raining 

we switch classrooms with Mrs Cooper.

The children LOVED it!!!

They could play between our 2 rooms

and it is always FUN to play

with NEW activities!

Our day is a little off scheduled

but after we had free play

between the 2 rooms

We sat back on the carpet

class pledge

I WILL BE KIND TODAY

Then I asked the children

what if we had a class pet

what kind would you like and 

how should we take care of it!

So many great ideas

Then I showed them the 

"class pet"

I brought in for

this week.....

Llama Llama

we then talked about how

we should take Care of a 

Llama

Then we got to do something we haven't 

had a chance

to do yet this year

We have been blessed with such nice weather

so far, but when it is raining

or too cold we.....

PLAY IN THE COMMONS:

Scooters are amazing

for stregthen

little muscles!!

especially legs and core!!

Story Time today

I tried a different approach today

 the children interacted with

me as I told the story

A familiar story

Going on A Bear Hunt

I would say a line

children repeat

and do 

hand actions

And then for some parts

solve a problem...

like how do we get across the

river

each time we do this story

the kids can make the story a 

little different

We had 3 small groups today

so everyone got to do

every activity

For 2nd steps we

looked at this picture

and talked about how this boy

is feeling.....Happy

How can we tell he is Happy...

by his smile

Then we talked about things that make 

us happy

CENTER TIME

Lots of friends wanted to 

use the 

Fire House

So we had a sign up

Having to wait is hard but when the

children sign their

name on a piece

of paper ... makes waiting for their

turn easier /better!!

Plus gives extra practice

with name writing
