HAPPY FRIDAY
Morning Work
Coloring
Sorting Beads
the hard part of sorting these
little beads is to pick them
up one or 2 at a time.
Lots of the children
want to just pick up hand fulls and
dump. I encourage them to pick them up
one at a time----- it helps strengthen those little
fingers......takes patience........and
works on self-control!
All very important pre school
skills!!
Play Doh
Always a favorite
Ben and mrs Koenen
are using rocks to
make different lines
Luke was using
the colored shapes
Morning meeting
The children taken their cross
rock and making their
class pledge
I WILL BE KIND TODAY
Addie was our
attendance
helper
Zero Friends NOT at school
10 friends AT School
ALL our friends are at school today!!
HAPPY DAY!!
Hazel led
our invocation
Sang our BIBLE song
The children have really learned
the story of Abraham and Sarah
and baby Isaac
The biggest message I want them to
know is to
ALWAYS have faith in GOD even
when things don't go your way or
when it is hard to wait for what you want..
Sarah and Abraham waited a very long
time for a baby
OUTSIDE TIME
Our flowers in front needed
some watering...
SO we found random
plastic containers
in our recycling
and FILLED
them with water
And then took care of our mums
THEY LOVED THIS!!
STORY TIME
FIREBEAR
To THE RESCUE
we had a few that said
non fiction, but then we talked about whether a BEAR
could be a fireman
Everyone said no to that
so even know firemen
are real this story is pretend...
fiction
Luke was our
weather helper
He chose RAINBOW
I tell the children they can chose
RAINBOW whenever they are having
a HAPPY KIND
of day
🌈🌈🌈
Hazel was
Prayer Leader
Carson
SNACK MANAGER
SNACK
Roman was our
teacher assistant
USING THE LINES TO MAKE OUR
A's!!
A's!!
Then we sang
WHERE DO YOU START YOUR LETTERS
AT THE TOP!!!
And we pointed to the top
of our A's
I found this HUGE
firehouse in our attic
with 2 big firetrucks
HOWEVER... really no pieces to it!
( no people or furniture)
The children were very excited to
play here regardless
and I suggested we make people for it
(see a few pictures below)
We also have the other
firehouse that they children
have been enjoying
ALL week!
The children were interested
in making their own with
misc. parts we had around our
classroom
wooden balls and corks
Practicing our names....
Addie and Claire using the
parts to make people
using very short pencils
makes holding your
pencil in a correct grasp
more natural
It also helps the children have more control
over the direction
they move their pencil
Claire was our superintendent
Lincoln was our
Yoga Instructor
SKI POSE
PRAYER REQUESTS
LOVE LOVE LOVE
to see the children bow their heads and fold their
hands while we are praying!!!
A few extra minutes
so
we watch another informational
video on
FIREMEN!
Carson was excited because it showed
a rescue helicopter
and his question yesterday
about what he wanted to learn more about
had to do with
helicopters!!!
Teddy was our line leader
and chose
To your house, mouse!!!
