We learned more about 

Joseph and his 

brothers

we talked about a lot

of different feelings throughout

this story

MAD = Joseph's brothers were mad

and jealous of Joseph because their father loved Joseph 

most of all and gave him

a special colorful coat

SAD= Jacob(Joseph's dad) was sad when

Joseph's  brothers told him Jospeh was 

killed by wild animals

SAD = Joseph was put in prison when

he did nothing wrong

HAPPY = Joseph always remembered GOD!!

Good things ended up happening for Joseph

HAPPY= Joseph and his family were reunited

and Joseph forgave his brothers

We did a few things out of order today

because of the party

Lincoln was our

offering helper

After church we walked around 

and looked at the confirmation

banners(Confirmation is this

weekend)

We counted how many crosses we could

find... many of the banners

had a cross on them.....

I think our total was 26

I LOVE to see all the banners in church

At Zion, each child getting confirmed

will make a banner with

a special bible verse they chose for their

life verse and then make a banner

representing their verse

I tried taking a picture of us walking in the

rain but I guess it didn't turn out

IT WAS POURING ON 

THE WAY BACK!!!

Everyone was drenched(mostly 

just waist down...... so I put on a Halloween

video SO we could change everyone!!

So I think everyone will need to restock

extra clothes....

and a great time to swap over to

winter clothing!!
