Today we talked about patience

we all agreed sometimes it is hard 

to wait!!!  We read a story about a 

man and women who waited a VERY long

 time for something

they really wanted

Abraham and Sarah

Abraham and Sarah really wanted a baby

They believed in God and

did whatever He asked of them.

Even though they were VERY old

they still had a baby

They named the BABY

The children were divided into 3 small groups

with the children which reinforces

the letters we have learned so far while

repeating a rhyme 

I did 2nd steps with my group

We looked at these pictures

and identified all these

emotions and then concentrated

on sad.The children shared

what makes them sad and then we talked about

what we can do if we are sad.

The last group got to play with

the Imaginext Fire House

After about 6 mins

we rotated groups

until everyone had done each

activity

practicing making a surprised face

CENTER TIME

All the children wanted to play with the

Imaginext fire 

house, so

we took turns. We allowed 3 at a time

and then everyone else signed their names on

a sign up sheets

This was a great opportunity to talk

 about how hard waiting is sometimes but

everyone will get a turn who wants one. The sign up sheet also encourages

 more opportunities for

writing his/her name and 

Colton gave his spot to a friend

who really wanted a turn. I told him he could put 

his name on the KINDNESS CHART
