The brothers took Joseph
and threw him in a well

Then they decide to sell him into
slavery(Addie was the person they sold him too)

The man took Joseph to Egypt

Then the brothers came and told
Jacob(Charleigh) that Joseph was
killed by a wild animal

Jacob was very sad

Then we talked about how the story
doesn't end sad...
Joseph was very faithful and never
stopped believing in God.
God was always with him
and He is always with us too!!

all the crumbs off the floor
even without being asked

name on the kindness chart

SCIENCE EXPERTMENT

The children we SO excited when I said we
were going to do a
SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

Hot Water
and
Special capsules

What will happen when we put
1 orange
1 black
1 green
and
1 purple capsule
in hot water

we made predictions:

Then had to be VERY
patient to wait
and see what would happen

I brought the
jar around SO all the
children could see
the capsules
get BIGGER

Then a SPONGE was left behind!
The sponges
were
HALLOWEEN SHAPED

I let each child
hold each
sponge

Then we looked at the
capsule next to the
sponges

we then talked about
how the capsule
became a sponge

The purple one was very SLOW to open

and wanted to say
BEAN BAG BEAN BAG
WHERE ARE YOU?

ARE YOU IN THE
_________ HOUSE
AND  SAY A NUMBER

THEN I GIVE CLUES LIKE

NO IT ISN'T UNDER THE #4 HOUSE
IT IS UNDER A HOUSE WITH A
NUMBER BIGGER THAN 4

AND EVERYONE KEEPS GUESSING
BASED ON
THE CLUES

THEY LOVE THIS GAME
reinforces number recognition
understanding of BIGGER/SMALLER
listening and understanding
the clues
turn taking
