Morning Work:

New games to

play....

this one is a

roll, write and count

So on each heart are circles, children

count how many circles, then try to roll that

 number with the die, then count out that many gems or hearts

then write that number

The children also enjoy this 

magna doddle

This game reinforces number

recognition and one to

 one correspondence

All the children enjoy all th e

pretty beads!!

spell words...

JESUS TIME:

Another miracle

Jesus heals 10 lepers

super short video to give the kiddos

a picture of what the people looked like

with leprosy

(wrapped in bandages)

Then we acted out the story....

we had 8 kiddos volunteer to wrap themselves

in bandages and pretend

to have leprosy

Then we talked about how people with 

leprosy lived together away from others

So our "actors" stood together

Then Jesus and his disciples were walking along

and the 10 men with leprosy approached

Jesus and asked to be healed

Jesus said GO and show yourselves

to the priest

As the men walked away they realized

they had been HEALED

They took off their bandages....

Only 1 man remembered to

return and THANK YOU JESUS!!

yesterday, got to do their winter tree

observation

Mrs Koenen took a few friends at a time

to look at the window and

observe the winter tree and 

then draw it!

I worked with a small group

of children on graphing
