Happy Friday

Morning Work

Charlie came in first and immediately
wrote a letter

Hazel and Jemma also

wrote letters

Next Charlie wanted to
solve this puzzle

Nora wanted to do the

puzzle after Charlie

Teddy, Jemma and Hazel

played the heart and beads counting

game

Jemma was our Attendance Helper

When she got the attendance boards

she noticed Teddy had not signed

in yet..... so she walked the boards over to him

so he could sign in😁😁😁😁

Jemma counted and found out

we have ALL 8 friends at school

today

We watched a video to learn more about

SCIENTIST.. Sid the Science Kid
Then the children told me more

about what they wanted to learn
THEN instead of outside time

we did YOGA... I found these YOGA flash cards

There were SO really hard poses

But we had FUN
Everyone had a turn

to choose a random card and then

we tried the pose

AFTER YOGA

we played a game... an introduction to

estimating. Starting with only 5... I told the children each one would get a turn

to look at the board and WITHOUT counting tell me how many snowmen there are......
Just to look quickly and "estimate"
sometimes when I repositioned the snowmen

it looked like a different amount
I would take and add and
tried to make it look each
one different

Then story time....

Jemma was our weather
helper

 Mila was our prayer leader
Charlie was snack manager
SNACK

Aiden volunteered to be

our teacher assistant

Then we used the lines and

curves to make the letter B

CENTER TIME

Yesterday we started an art project with

homemade PUFF PAINT

Use Elmers glue and shaving cream

Then we added eyes, carrot nose, scarf

a hat and buttons..... we made a melted snowman

The children named their snowmen and then told me WHY
it melted!

SO CUTE!!!

Then a few children(who had not done it
earlier in the week) got to do a graphing

counting assessment......

we worked on counting one to one,
graphing and concepts like
MOST or LEAST
and how to read a graph

Aiden was our superintendent

Nora was our exercise leader

TOE TOUCHES
Prayer Requests

Then we got to

use the musical instruments

The children love this!!!

SUCH A BUSY but SUPER

FUN DAY!
