This is a pea gravel pit

it had a thin layer of ice....

the children discovered this.....

and had a blast!!

It was a great example of WHY it really isn't

safe to walk on a (frozen)lake after it has been

a little warmer out!!!

All the children thought it was frozen, but immediately

broke through the ice!!

Fortunately for us

this had pea gravel under and was

STORY TIME

I asked the children why they thought

we were reading lots of stories this week

about LOVE...

Because of Valentines Day!!

And then I asked them who LOVES them MOST

of all!!!!

but a few seem to know where I was going

Yes our families LOVE us lots
