Morning Work

I found these SPACE GUYS

from Goodwill yesterday

a big pack all wrapped up

with like 12 guys in it!!!

So fun!

we decided to use 2 of them 

for markers for our 

SPACE game

a new ABC matching game

Wyatt and Tristan played the SPACE

game together

Luke wanted  a turn next

Aiden was excited to continue

working with bristle block and work

on what he was building Friday

Play Doh is always FUN!

Ella got out the book she was 

working on from Thursday

Matthew also wanted to use the new 

space guys for the game

Aiden volunteered to do

invocation leader since we didn't

have one today

ZIPPY came to help with Jesus time

Zippy had quite a few Superhero stick puppets

he was very excited about them

We talked about what a super hero does

then we also discussed that batman type

superheroes aren't

real.But that some people

do have job where they rescue or cure people

like a superhero

Doctors and police/firemen

Then we talked about how JESUS was like a super hero to the people

during the time that he lived on Earth

He cured the sick and helped many people

One day when he went to Jerusalem

the people had a parade for him

waving palm branches and saying

HOSANNA

Since it was raining we watch a short video

of the space station from Jan 2021

it showed real footage and a rocket.

We also got to see pictures of the Mars rover

This really got the class excited to start painting our boxes

and parts to our rocket

The class had SO much FUN painting!!!

We read information about Mars today

Matthew was our librarian

Luke was weather helper

Ella was snack manager

Claire was the teacher assistant

And Tristan likes to offer to help

Claire reach the letters that are too high

So sweet!

MYSTERY BAG

This one is a challenge to put together

especially without seeing a picture of it yet!

This group got out a book

that is super cool and opens up

and shows great photos of

the planets

Luke and Tristan are using the book to learn how

to spell Earth  and Mars for a signs

for the planets we are hanging in our 

windows

Ella chose push ups for the exercise today

Then Aiden chose OWL POSE

for YOGA
