On our I WONDER list about SPACE

The children wondered how many MOONS our in

our SOLAR SYSTEM

I found a silly but informative video

it captured everyones attention

Scientist are discovering more moons all the time

but from counting the moons from the planets 

we are learning about... it is roughly 186 or more

After the video we moved to YOGA

Nora chose DOWNWARD DOG

Thankfully it wasn't raining

The next planet after Jupiter is SATURN

Carly was the weather helper

Brody the Librarian 

Luke the prayer leader

everyone doing such a nice

time with their hands folded and heads bowed

Wyatt was the SNACK MANAGER

Claire was sit by the teacher and then that person

also gets to be the teacher assistant

(I think this is Claire's favorite job)

she is doing a nice job

We were wondering what a control panel

in a Space ships look like: 

so we looked up pictures

Then started making items to use for the

control panel in our classroom space shuttle

lots of painting

for button for the control panel

A favorite area is the SPACE IMAGINEX

Nora loves the magnets
