Morning Meeting

We came to the blue carpet and the children learned to

raise their hands if they would like to share something

They did a really nice job!

   Second Steps
We will spend a week look at one card adding a little more information or getting

different ideas from the different children. Not all the kids on our class attend the same

days so this is a great way for everyone to get the lesson as well as reinforce what we are

trying to teach by hearing the same info more than one time.
The children looked at the picture and decided the boy in the picture was nervous.
We talked about how we each felt on our first day of school last week. And then we talked

about how we could make this boy in the picture feel better.

The children had great ideas of telling him , "everything will be ok" "school is FUN"

YOGA

Tristan was our yoga instructor and chose SKI POSE

Great Job with SKI POSE

Claire chose to be our invocation leader

After we do the invocation, I take prayer request. Our prayer wall is filling up!

Each week (or so) we will chose a piece of art week from a child. Everyone will get a chance to be the ARTIST OF THE WEEK
This is Nora's work of art

The rest of Jesus time, I shared(part) a book that talks about how much God loves us!

The tunnels, rams, balls, etc....  are so much fun and allow the children so much creativity when playing with them

Will looking at a picture of himself and then drawing a self portrait
Look at what Brody and Tristan created!!  SO COOL!
Caroline and Nora played in dramatic play together for a long time
We have so many interesting "loose parts" to make art creations with
These button were random collection from my house but if you or anyone in your extended family have any buttons, beads, or other random loose parts.. we would gladly use them for our art center!

small craft sticks, etc......
