we carried the Alleluias over
that we made so we can
"bury" them
for Lent
** we put them in a black box as a
reminder to not say the
word Alleluia during Lent
Mrs Helmkamp led chapel
she pointed out the paraments are black
today for Ash Wednesday
and will also be purple during lent
we learned God LOVES us so much
HE sent HIS son
to Earth for us and then to die on a cross
to save each of us...
we celebrate Lent to prepare for Jesus'
death BUT also we know the story doesn't end there!!

Easter Morning
