JESUS TIME

began with me showing the children the

circles with hearts on them...

I told them I had one for each friend

to remind them of JESUS' love---

But wait.. we are missing one

ONE IS LOST!!

Luckily we found it!!

And we celebrated that everyone

could have one to bring home!

It reminds me of today's

bible story

THE LOST SON

the father celebrated (and forgave)

his son when he lost his way..

I told the children a special word

PARABLE

Sometimes Jesus would tell parables--

stories that teach a. lesson

We also learned that LOST can mean

something we can't find.. but lost can also mean when we sin and 

are lost--- not following our parents or Jesus

BUT the good news JESUS always forgives

us and LOVES us no matter what!!

Our hearts can remind us of JESUS' love
