OUR LENTEN DEVOTION 

each day is a little card to read to help create 

A MOBILE

OUR LENTEN  ribbon

for our class cross (purple and black_

the colors of lent)

a few people had not had the

chance to bury an ALLELUIA

our pieces for the mobile

2nd steps....

SAME AND DIFFERENT

we looked at this card and talked about all the

things that are the same...

the class said:

both wearing helmets

both wearing sweat suits

both on the bike

both holding on

then some things that are different:

wearing different colors

different looks on their faces

one friend is smiling

ome friend looks scared

then we made scared faces.....

we then talked about how sometimes friends can be doing 

the same thing and feeling differently about it

One friend might like to go fast and the other fried might not

or you might like a certain game and your friend doesn't

I talked to the kids about paying attention to how our

friends feel and to make sure they feel the same way

about the game we are playing

TODAY'S HELPERS...

this warmer weather)

AN ABC review of letters we 

have already learned...

everyone got to choose one

card--- they showed it to the class,

told us what it is and the sound it makes

and a word that starts with that letter...

CENTER TIME:

we cut a hole out of the

box we painted yesterday....

for a "safe" area for the

X-Ray technician to stand

Beckett getting

Harrison spent a long time coloring

today

JJ and Beckett building ramps

decorating crosses for our

classroom

we put our "light board"

on the wall as an X-RAy reader...

JJ and Olivia enjoyed this ramp...

the ball would go down the hill and ALL the

way back up!!!

They were impressed by that!!

JJ then came over to the doctor area and said he

got "scratched by his pet polar bear"

and then several "doctors" 

began taking care of him!!

Ellis enjoyed decorating her

cross for a long time 

The doctors decided  JJ needed

an X-RAY....

Harrison still coloring...

then I noticed he was making

a picture for every

letter...

like A for Apple....

lots of hard work..
