Then we read about 

THE LOST SON

( I guess I forgot to take a picture)

I first asked the children if they

remember from yesterday what a parable is...

or if they already know...

It is a word you probably don't hear often

A parable is a story...

Jesus like to tell stories...

A parable is a story that teaches a lesson

The LOST SON teaches us that we may get "LOST"

sin/ not do what our parents ask

BUT a Fathers 

LOVE is so great

He will always love us --no matter what!

So in the parable the LOST SON, the father welcomed his son 

back home even after he sinned and didn't follow what he antd...

Our Father in Heaven also forgives us....

2nd Steps....

We looked closely at this picture and talked about what was happening

and how we though each boy was feeling

Adam accidently ran into Liam...

It was an accident

Accidents sometimes happen

and we talked about what we should do 

if we accidently hurt a friend
