Happy National Lutheran Schools Week

Morning Work

Zoey began her day

with the squiggly lines

She was having FUN shaping them into

swings, slides and seesaws

Indie using mini winter erasers

to create a pattern

sticks and cubes to create...

Annibella started her morning

making patterns

Fun with our wooden

curves and straight lines

The children were having SO much FUN

with the new morning work 

we played a little longer

Morning Meeting

Whoever sits right next to me

at morning meeting

gets to care for our puppy

who ALMOST has a name

It is now between

SNOOPY

AND 

PUPPY PUPPY

Annibella was attendance helper

Jesus Time

We learned about a man named

Zacchaeus 

Zippy visited us and taught us a game

OPPOSITES

Zippy said a word and the class guessed

the word that was opposite

BIG

HIGH

COLD

They did a great job

and then Zippy said the word

SINFUL..

it only took a short time for someone

to come up with a word

He said KINDNESS

I thought that was pretty good

considering SINFUL is a 

hard concept

We talked about how the man from our story today

didn't really know the opposite of sinful

He was not kind and stole from the people

BUT Jesus LOVED him anyway

and talked with him and even went to his house

Then Zacchaeus decided to change

and become a kind person

Jesus wants us to know He will love us know matter what

BUT Jesus also wants us to love others

in the same way

today's friends voted SNOOPY

then we danced

Then we had indoor recess

we played between Mrs Coopers

classroom and our classroom

The children always enjoy this

Rainbow of Love

Mrs Cooper's class came up with Rainbow Party

and our class came up with

Hearts for Love

So we combined the names!!
