FOLLOWING the Star

Then we went on a
Scavenger Hunt
for STARS!!!
Everyone got a clipboard, marker
and STAR CHECKLIST
we walked around
finding stars
THE CLASS DID GREAT
The stars were numbered
and the children's STAR CHECKLIST
had the numbers 1-10 listed
and the children marked off the numbers
as they found them
The children had a great time
and really did such a great job!

and we practiced
rolling the play doh
out into a long line and then
curving it!!
LOTS of circles and C's were made.....
rolling play doh is great
for strengthening little fingers
CENTER TIME
I had some time after school yesterday to find
a few things to add to dramatic play
LIKE FOOD>>>>
( I couldn't find the food in our
storage area for days😂😂)
And I brought down
ramps and hot wheels
Dramatic Play was
VERY popular area!!!
With so many friends ALL wanting to
play in the same area it
truly works on cooperative play
just naturally.....
ramp building was fun too!!
Harrison was determined to build
this gingerbread house
Fun having new dress up stuff!
The class is missing Mrs Talley's
BLUEBERRY and I already had this puppy
in the classroom SO
we are working on naming him
and he can sit where
Blueberry sat
We also colored bookmarks
that our whole school is working
on as a thank you for our church supporting
our school.
Some older grades will give them out
in church during
NATIONAL LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK
we also used this opportunity
to do a January name sample...
Here are the name suggestions
for our puppy
SO FAR!!!
Ellis was our
Superintendent
Selah was

Leo was yoga instructor
