He is going to the seminary to be a Pastor

He talked to us about the SAME

bible story we are learning this week in class

Jesus appeared to the disciples when they were fishing

(without catching any fish all night)

telling them to cast their nets on the other side

the disciples then caught 152 fish

Jesus then Fixed the Disciples

Jesus wanted the disciples

and us to know HE is always with us!!

As we were sitting here observing the

chrysalis---one started shaking very fast!!!

Samuel got to report to his friends

we are on day 15....

but day 7 of being inside the 

chrysalis...

butterflies can emerge anywhere

 from day 7 to day 14 after froming their

chrysalis 

we also talked about why the one chrysalis was 

shaking....... it is a defense.....

this will hopeful scare predators away

I read the story and then we needed a 

volunteer for weather helper..

Monday we froze bugs

and today we were being entomologist

excavating the bugs...

one container

warm water

2nd container

salt..

we wanted to see which one would melt it

first...

warm water was melting the ice faster

we got the bugs out of the one

using warm water!!!

it was a little hard being patient

with adding just salt to the 

frozen ice 

it  wasn't melting as fast as the warm water

I brought sea salt--curious if regular table salt

will be anymore effective??
