Now lots of friends are busy making

their own bugs

MORNING MEETING

Maisie's turn to sit with

Jesus makes the disciples

breakfast

We got to act out the story

Levi and Kennedy were 2 

of the disciples

 

Fishing all night

didn't catch anything

Then a man appeared on the shore

and said throw

your net to the other side

Disciples did and

then their nets were FULL

153 fish!!

Then Peter ( Kennedy)

Knew it was the Lord...

Peter jumps out of the boat and swims

 to the shore

Jesus(CALVIN) asked Peter 3x's

Do you Love me?

Each time Peter's says

You know that I do Lord..

Then Jesus says

Then go and feed my sheep!!!

This class know the story SO well!!!

Today's helpers....

Mrs Helmkamp was

working with a few friends in the 

hallway SO we practiced 

walking sideways to get through.....

It had been raining on

and off all morning

SO playground was VERY wet!!

But we put our boots on and went

a drizzly walk

we sang

Going on a Bear Hunt.....

and found ways to walk silly OR

learn a new skills...

hopping on one foot(and moving forward)

skipping

crossing our feet across our bodies to take a step

etc....

We had FUN!!

He Chose the Dust Bunny Book

We then hypothesized...

what will melt our frozen bug ice faster...

WARM WATER AND SALT

** yesterday we learned that the warm water

melted the ice faster

*** will do the experiment during center time

CENTER TIME

Lots of friends wanted to try

out the experiment

This container was SALT

and WARM WATER

WARM WATER ONLY

And this one was

only SALT

The children could come

and go as they wanted.....

Play in the centers.....

SOME stayed the duration.......

we also worked on our

"carpet" for our ABC Fashion show

decorating and coloring it

Harrison wrote out the 

Alphabet....

Ella also wanted to write the alphabet

The one with the

SALT AND WARM WATER

overall melted the ice block quicker....

I left the Jesus time story

stuff out so the children could

act oct the story

it was so sweet hearing the children

retell the story!!

friends also played with legos

I gave Harrison and Otto some

stickers, crayons and paper

Xander was superintendent

Maisie was exercise leader

our hypothesis ......

more thought just warm water

BUT warm water PLUS salt made the ice

melt fastest

**side note a few friends got the bug out of the just warm water

first however I think it is just the way the bug

was in the ice because the the warm water plus salt ice block was smaller
