Morning Work

Yesterday was

work together Weds

and we did a small group activity

where the children

work with partners

to build structures

with marshmallows and toothpicks

Today I got the marshmallows

and toothpicks back out

for morning work

Harrison's turn to care for

Little Puppy

Ellie was attendance helper

Everyone came to school today

16 friends here

Lyla was invocation leader

and devotion helper

we reviewed the day

Jesus rides into Jerusalem 

Then I read these statements

if it is true

class waved their arms

if it was false

the stay still!!

They really enjoyed this

today's helpers:

lots of sticks from

the storms in the past few weeks

we just haven't been out here

the class was helpful in picking them up

Next we got to go to the 

REPTILE DEMONSTRATION

First Dawson and Loki

talked to us

and gave us great FACTS about

reptiles

Then we got to walk by ALL the reptile

and even hold

and pet them

Many of the children are braver

than ME!!!

Calvin was so impressed with

the reptile guys

he started inviting our class over to 

his house to see his pet turtle

(which he told me he does NOT 

have yet, but wants one)

I think my class could

 have stayed here ALL

day!!
