Xander got to care for Little

Puppy today

Today's Jesus Time Story...

about 2 men

(2 of Jesus' disciples)

went walking..

I asked each friend find a partner

so we were walking in groups of 2...

It was that 1st Easter Morning...

They were sad and didn't quite

understand what had happened

(when the women said they

found the tomb empty)

They walked 7 miles 

all the way to the town

of Emmaus

As thry were walking a man

appeared.... (Jesus... Mrs Koenen)

Jesus asked the men

WHY ARE YOU SO SAD

The men didn't recognized Jesus

and told HIM about everything that

had happened

when they got to the town they

invited the man(Jesus) into their home

to rest and for a meal

Then the man (Jesus) said a blessing

and BLESSED the bread

and instantly the men knew it

was JESUS...

and then suddenly HE was gone!!!

The men ran the 7 miles back to 

Jerusalem to share the GOOD

news..... JESUS IS ALIVE!!!
