A VERY SPECIAL CHAPEL
Stations of the Cross
We gathered with 2 other
classes and then we followed our
leaders over to the church
we had 3 stations set up!!
STATION 1
WE learned about how we all have SIN
we marked our hands with
gray chalk to remind us of our sins...
Then we followed our leaders
and the cross to the next station
Mrs Lohmann, former preschool teachers,
then taught us a litany
she read a special part
and then we said
My sins are washed away......
then the teachers used a
bowl of water and a washcloth
and we got to
"wash away"
our sins
Just as Jesus does for us!!
The last station was a special book
about the women going to Jesus'
tomb and finding it empty
that 1st Easter Morning!!
Jesus rose from the dead!!
Then we each got a heart
(to remind us of Jesus' GREAT
love for us)
we each wrote our name
then we put a nail through
it to remind us of
Jesus dying on the cross
for each of US
Jesus' LOVE is greater
than anything
Each child got to
bring their heart
home as well
EMMY was librarian
searching for a book
Levi was our
ornithologist
getting so close.......
He told the class that the
chicks may start
pipping
(starting to crack the shell)
we noticed the time and
realize we didn't have time to read ths story
just then...

They were already planning
to come to bring the incubator
and eggs home for EASTER Break
(chicks should hatch while we are on break)
SO when it looked like rain during
our fieldtrip time, I asked if Aunt Nikki
could come during the time we were suppose
to be on the trip and Emmy's mom
thought of the idea of bringing
a few "SURPRISES"
SADLY>>>>
BLOG POSTED THESE VERY
OUT OF ORDER>>>>>
OUT OF ORDER>>>>>
Aunt Nikki had 2 ducks to show us...
This was at very end...
we got to see
ALL different eggs
2 kinds of duck, chicken anda goose
we got to feel
how thick the egg shells
are....
and see the difference in the
sizes of the yolk
anyone who wanted to pet
the ducks could...
CANDLING:
we also got to see which
of our eggs
turned into chickens!!
Aunt Nikki put the egg up to a light
and we could tell which ones had
chicks inside!!
EXCITING!!
6 out of our 7 will be
hatching soon!!!
Interesting to see how thick
the shells are!!!
