JESUS TIME

LAST day

for learning about Creation

I got out our

creation cards......

we reviewed what 

God created on each day....

Then we had a BOX

with a variety of different items....

thanks to Mrs Koenen

for putting this together

we passed around the box so 

everyone could get a better look inside

Then I held up each item and the children

told me what day God

created it...by only using their

fingers....

The children have really

learned what day GOD created each thing..

Then sang a song about creation

Then we played on

our side yard

which we call the

PINE YARD

Everyone was SO

engaged in play and

enjoying the 

Beautiful weather

They played and played.....

When we came back inside

we washed hands and read on the brown carpet

Emmy was our librarian

She chose this story....

I like the children to look at the cover and 

make guesses about what the book will be 

about...

not many already knew what a 

"dust bunny" is

but talked about the monster

part

we also decided that this book

was fiction...

not real because 

dust bunnies don't have eyes, eye brows

noses, etc...... and monsters

are not real.....

This is a FUN and SILLY

Rhyming Book

So as we read we pointed out 

which words rhymed!!

Audrey was weather helper

Samuel was prayer leader

This is the prayer

he chose

Kennedy was snack manager

SNACK

LOTS and LOTS of

friends showed kindness

during snack..

helping each other

open their snacks,

helping when someone

spills, etc...

I think this kindness heart will fill

up quickly !!

Calvin was teacher assistant

We talked about the letter I

and what sounds it makes

and then we were going to 

practice writing it on the smartboard

BUT

sometimes things don't go as planned

and the smartboard wasn't cooperating

SO we jumped into something else

CENTER TIME

Since 

STITCH won the vote for our class

name I made a color sheet

with STITCH...

many friends wanted to color,

decorate and cut him out....

JJ and Dominic chose

trains and

played trains the WHOLE time!!

I had to charge my phone

so didn't get as many pictures of center time

Many friends played in the 

dramatic play area as well

as art

Dominic was our

Superintendent

Xander was excited to be

exercise leader...
