BEAUTIFUL MORNING

KINDNESS HEARTS

SAMUEL WAS OUR
LIBRARIAN

After looking at the picture of the cover
EVERYONE decided this story
was going to be fiction

SOME reasons why?
Pigs don't write
Pigs aren't teachers
Pigs can't make paper airplanes
Pigs don't go to school

I love listening to the children figure things out,
problem solve, use deductive reasoning, etc...
Simon was
weather helper

And he was SO excited he reached
ALL by himself!!

Harrison was prayer leader

The prayer he chose
Trying practicing it before
your dinner tonight
Ella was snack manager

SNACK

Teacher assistant was JJ

We sang a song that
reinforced what sounds each letter
of the alphabet
makes

Brainstorming what we want
 to learn about next......

CENTER TIME

coloring our
class name picture
to make a sign

SCISSOR ASSESSMENT

I will be giving each chid a pair of
scissors...
first I want to see if they know how to pick
the scissors up and correctly place it on their hand
how to hold the scissor to cut
cut on a line

Then we made creations
with either the paper they cut or other
embellishments--we have a HUGE variety!!

After each child made his or her creation---
I took a language sample by having him or her
tell about what he/she created!

Harrison working on his birthday art

and he got to chose a birthday book
from our special drawer!!

Camden and Audrey spent a
lot of time playing together today!

Samuel asked me to come take
