Jacob was attendance helper

16 friends here

Eleanor was

Ms Angie, our director of Children's
Ministry, came and did a JESUS TIME
story today

God created PEOPLE
Adam then Eve
Ms Angie
used play doh to tell the story

then she talked about how God made

each of us different
No 2 people are exactly alike...

no one has the exact same fingerprint...

we got to make our fingerprint in
the play doh to help us see the
differences

After Ms Angie left
I talked to the children about another
kind of drill
EARTHQUAKE DRILL

We talked about what an earthquake
is and what we need to do to stay safe...

I told the children that when
an announcement comes over the PA
it will tell us:  it is time for the drill....

That will be it--- NO loud noises!!

The children did an
amazing job of quietly
going under the tables....

we have 16 friends today so we needed to use
4 tables.....

so Mrs Koenen and I helped the children find
all our classroom tables...

duck and cover
even under the table we
practiced covering our heads...

which for a lot of friends we might
need to practice a little more....

the announcement said
if there was a real earthquake we would stay under
table for 30 seconds after last trimmer..

then we line up on our stop signs
and headed outside

we waited on our
designated spot until
administration came around to make sure we
were"safe" and all
accounted for

SUCH A NICE JOB
