Morning Work

New activities
Star Roll and Cover
A great way to reinforce
number recognition

Star counting and then matching

the clothes pin with numbers on it

This is a great fine motor as

well as number recognition

Jace and Matthew building with these new

connecting shapes
A Star number line... 1 through 10

try to build a tower with as many

block that is on each star
This activity is also a great number recognition, counting as well
as problem solving and patience.
Sometimes the blocks fall over the taller the tower!!
Sorting stars

Way to go Carson!!!! Look at those towers!
Jace built a very tall tower and then counted it for me

It built a tower 12 blocks high!!

Great work!

We also learned about the gifts the
wisemen brought baby Jesus

I had items for the
kiddos
essential oils to let the
children get the idea of what Myrrh and
Frankincense smells
like as well as a jar full of (fake)gold

So today a few asked for big sheets of paper
They moved all our

cool museum items off the table

Then made some plans
Got the supplies they needed/wanted
