Hazel was our attendance helper

Zero friends NOT at school

Even though Fridays are low days

and it was still only 8 students 

it was SO great to have everyone

who is suppose to be here

SECOND STEPS

We reviewed the picture of the 

boy who accidentally ran his bike into

a friend

Teddy is pointing to all the things he is noticing

about the picture

Then we ACTED out pretending to accidentally bump into a friend

We practiced what words BOTH friends need to say

The friend who accidentally bumps into someone

practiced saying

I am sorry. That was an accident!

The friend who was bumped into says

That is Ok. I forgive you

(saying I forgive you is hard to do sometimes)

Then the friend who bumped into someone needs

to say

What can I do to make you feel better?

The friend who got bumped into got to decided

what would make them feel better

most said a hug

Since it was SO SO cold

we played a game inside

Then I rolled a big die

Each side had a different action

crawl like a polar bear

Flap like a snowy owl

Freeze like an icicle

Then each student got 

a chance to roll the die

Mila was our weather helper

Teddy was Prayer Leader

He knew most of the prayer

all by himself!

Nathaniel was snack manager

NEXT we practiced making O's on the smartboard
