Everyone took a close look at this picture
and we tried to decide by looking at
the boy, Michael's face how
he was feeling
So many great thoughts and ideas
so some friends said Michael was feeling
sad, scared, surprised...
I love getting the children talking about feelings and
learning how to "read"how someone else may be
feeling by looking at them
I then told the children a little story about
Michael. School was over and all his friends had gone home.
Michael was still waiting for his grandma to pick him
up. Then I asked the children,
How to you think he is feeling now...

I told the children we can try a few ideas in the weeks to
come and see where things go.....
mostly because a few people had a
hard time just choosing one

is winning....
