WHAT A GREAT 1st DAY

After each child came in and 

put their things in their cubbies

They washed their hands and then chose a

place for morning work

                              SO many activities at the tables to choose from

PLAY DOH

As the children were enjoying

morning work, I took a 1st day

of school picture of each child

Morning Meeting

We sang a song to learn

everyone's name

Icka Bicka

Soda Cracker

Who are you?

Then each child says his/her

name as I point to him/her

Everyone did such a GREAT job!!

After we have a few minutes learning

names we did 

YOGA

Carson is our YOGA instructor today

Yoga Instructor gets to choose

which yoga position to do

and then stand in the center and lead 

our class

Carson chose SKI POSE

I am starting to introduce the 

jobs to the children and

giving everyone a chance 

to try a job today 

(or over the next few days)

Once everyone knows all about the jobs

they will get to 

pick their own job each day!

Wyatt was our line leader today

Hazel was the door holder

Nora was our other door holder

Walking in a line.... hard concept

but thats OK we will keep practicing!

They actually did a really great job

OUTSIDE TIME

Claire was our prayer leader

Claire remembered the prayers

from last year and knew

exactly which one

she wanted to do

Matthew was our snack manager

Snack manager calls the friends to get their

things for snack

PICNIC style SNACK

After we ate we came in and washed our hands

and then sat back on the blue carpet for a few minute

I then walked around with the children

to learn about the centers that were open today!

Then it was 

CENTER TIME!!!!!

Trains was definitely a popular area

But so was art... which I think I am going to start

calling CREATION STATION

Some friends spent a LONG time creating today!!

Addie had a lot of fun creating!

Matthew chose play doh first

but quickly moved into dramatic play

These kiddos had so much fun in the

dramatic play area

Wyatt and Carson spent a lot

of time with the magnet tiles!

Cameron also enjoyed the work bench!

After Center Time

we cleaned up and had exercise time

PUSH UPS!!!!

I think we started off with the hardest

(well almost the hardest)

exercise we have 

🤣🤣🤣🤣

I didn't get a picture

but after we exercised we sit in a circle

and add PRAYER REQUEST to our PRAYER WALL

We prayed for all the friends we weren't able

to make it today, we prayed for families who

have parents traveling, we prayed for boo-boo's

hiccups to stop, pets, friends and more

It is one of my most favorite times with the children.

Tomorrow I will take a picture of them praying as well

as the prayer wall.
