OUTSIDE TIME

we have outdoor blocks

that the children enjoy to day too!

Such beautiful weather we took a few extra 

minutes to enjoy the sunshine!!!

And played on our side yard

These boys found sticks

that they pretended were wands

I believe I got turned into a frog

STORY TIME: Put Me in the Zoo

A great book to introduce Rhyming

Rhyming is so important

It teaches phonological awareness, sounds of our 

language/words and teaches word families

All building skills to prepare for reading!!

They LOVED this story!!

Brody was our librarian

Ella was our weather helper

Luke was our prayer leader

Wyatt was snack manager

SNACK TIME

or any meal time is a great time for 

conversations

The children enjoy each other and like this time together

As we end the end of the year,

wee are also using this time to promote other skills

like turn taking, listening, etc..

For a few weeks we played EYE SPY

while enjoying snack

Now we are playing an Alphabet game

The first person says A, then the person next says B,

then continue around the table until you get to the end of 

the alphabet.

For more of a challenge,

the child will say A is for ... Apple

He is walking around showing each

Then we made our estimates

Then we looked closely at our number line and read

each persons estimate to see how close or 

far away the estimate was

then decided what wooden pieces
