Morning Work

Claire was very busy this morning

she was just SO excited about all the new things out!

Since it was SO rainy we 

danced today!!

Today was a little tricky

the transformer were SO 

big... they took up more room

then what they kids are used too.

We had some BIG estimates

After we counted them out and

learned there were only 9 transformers

Next we talked about how bigger things

sometimes take up more room

and might not mean a bigger number

She also was very creative in making the lower case J

The wooden pieces aren't exactly designed for 

lower case letters. But the children are doing a great job

being creative

(he did tell me the name BUT.....I am 

not super familiar with transformers

and I forgot what he said🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

The children really enjoy using the loose parts

and arranging them or creating different

story parts(beginning, middle and end to a story). This is a great way to  allow

the children to express their creative while developing 

language skills
