Happy Friday

What an unusual morning!

Many Friends were not here today

so we had 3 boys today!!

Brody and Luke are helping take some of the stars off the wall!

Leo is enjoying these ladybugs!

Then Leo made the SUN with the magnetic blocks

Luke made a train

and a double decker bus

then Luke went and made cards

JESUS TIME

we talked about how all the stories in the

bible are true. And then we talked about another word

for TRUE stories... is NON FICTION

Then one of the boys asked,

" I thought NON means NO"

GREAT Question!

I explain that non does mean NO(or NOT)

and FICTION means pretend

SO if we put NON in front of 

FICTION then it means

NOT PRETEND

Such a great discussion we had

all even before reading today's 

bible story!

SECOND STEPS

Had a suggestion for a little activity

we said a situation like... someone else taking your favorite book

or you lost your coat...... then we talked about how we may feel

and then talked about ways to calm our bodies

put hand on your belly and say...STOP or you're OK

then take belly breathes

then say what the problem or feeling is.....

DANCE PARTY

SO FUN!!!!!!!

THESE BOYS LOVE TO DANCE!!!

MUSIC TIME

Next we got out the musical instruments

we got to play along with the music

follow directions and play to a beat(fast, slow, then

 stop when music told them )

STORY TIME

A cute story about kindness

Brody was our weather helper

And Brody also helped with PRAYER

Leo was snack manager

ESTIMATION JAR

Leo brought legos!

MYSTERY LETTER BOX

Luke was sit by the teacher

so he got to go first

He picked a letter out of our box

and then drew it on the SMART BOARD

The children really enjoy the smart board

CENTER TIME

only 3 kiddos

no real need for name tags

we are working on using loose parts to 

tell a story

The children got to place the parts

any way they wanted and then tell me a story

Leo also got to use his plans for his planet

and then create it with model magic

MOVIE TIME

I let the boys pick the movie

They voted on Peppa Pig goes to Space
