Journal Time has been very
successful

The children are really enjoying it
and some even come back to write more names
after the finish their own name

I love how everyone sending us
mail has also included great information
about their state

We are learning so much information
about so many different states

The kids love to see where are letters are
coming from and many ask
Where St Charles or where is
S. Dakota(where LoLa is)etc..

I love seeing their interest

The mountain finally not too mud

This started as a few children
and as you look at the rest of the blog
became
quite a few children

The kiddos took turns performing

It was SO fun to watch them take turns,
watch each others performances and then
perform themselves

Sometimes it might have been just a spin or a turn
BUT
wow...so many brave children to even
get up on the stage in front of a growing audience

Everyone has designed their own
postcards and today
we put address labels on them and mailed 14 of them

How many days will it take??
The children are excited to find out
we learned at the post office it can take
1-3 days

No one knows which postcard they will get
and unfortunately with the
short week we have to wait until
Monday to mail the rest
So my friends who were not
here today can walk to the
mailbox too

SO some might get a postcard by Friday and
some might have to wait until next week

Last week when Lent began we talked a lot
about sin...and we drew a picture of a sin on one of these
purple tags and today we got to put on this
board

When we see this board we can be reminded
that everyone sins BUT the God loves us
no matter what
and LOVES us so much that he sent his son
Jesus to die for our all sins

Mrs Haun came to read to the children so I could
go look at the book fair
and make a wish list for our
classroom
