Morning Work

journals

It is a little difficult to see
what we are watching BUT Colton's grandma
video recorded our concert and brought
her laptop.

The children are SO excited to watch it

getting ready for Jesus Time

I have been introducing the fidgets to the children
now they are in one of the drawers to the cart.
Anytime we got to the blue carpet(except for prayers) the
children may choose on their own if they want a fidget.

Right now everyone WANTS one but I think once the newness wears
off only those kiddos who really "need"them will continue
to get one...
They sure are COOL right now!

Eddie did a great job with invocation
Today the Jesus time story was about a women
who had a special visitor... JESUS
while Jesus was visiting her she took her
special flask filled with expensive oil and put it on his feet and head.
I didn't have a flask of expensive oil
but had a fancy tub of lotion.
Those that wanted some got a dab of lotion
to rub into their hands
She sacrificed her expensive oil to show Jesus how
much she LOVED him!
Jesus made the biggest sacrifice of all because
of his great LOVE for each one of us.

YOGA TIME

Sabrina chose SKI Pose

And Owl Pose

Then Brody was excited to share money from
other countries

He passed it around and let each
child hold a piece of money

OUTSIDE TIME

Thank You to Ryan's
grandparents for this FUN book!

We feel so BLESSED to have received
new books and we are
really enjoying them!

SNACK TIME
Dominic is making numbers with his pretzels

The Letter J
with the wooden pieces

Second Steps

we showed a picture of a little girl
who was sitting away from the story time circle...
She was feeling
DISAPPOINTED
because she wanted to sit by the teacher

This class can really relate to this situation as it happens
daily in our classroom.
We talked about the feeling of disappointment
and how she could solve her problem

Our class can be very generous and kind
and often gives up their spots so
others can have turns by the teacher

Center Time

The kiddos who have been here
earlier in the week have remembered
the new word
OVIPAROUS
it was so cute to hear them say the word
and then tell friends who have
not been here yet this week exactly what
it means!

Evie and Samuel played
Tic Tac Toe
throughout the entire center time!
Both so encouraging of each other
Evie keep telling Samuel he was
a Tic Tac Toe expert!!

Lots of glue and creating!!

trains

Trente made cards for many of
his friends today!
SWEET!
