Today I started journaling
work with the kids...

Each morning I am going to ask the children
to write their names in their journal
I especially want our friends going to kindergarten
to practice writing their names...
with lower case letters
(only first letter capitalized)

It was SO quiet while
the kiddos did journal work

Sharing Time

The class loves to hold Share Bear

Time for yoga..
Carson is the exercise leader
so he got to choose our
yoga pose

Tree Pose seems to be a favorite
even though it is the hardest

Next was Owl Pose

Now Jesus Time

We learned about Zacchaeus

Zacchaeus was a dishonest man
being a tax collector.. he told the people they owed more
money than they really did and kept it for himself
He stole from the people in his town

When Zacchaeus heard Jesus was coming to town
he wanted to see him... but he had a problem
He was VERY short

So he had to climb up in a tree to see Jesus.

Jesus saw him and knew him by name
He said, "Zacchaeus get down from that tree.
I am coming to your house!"

WOW!! All the people were so surprised that
Jesus would want to go to the house
of the man who stole.

But Jesus wants us to know...
he loves everyone...even people
who steal!!!
Zacchaeus wanted to become
a better man after meeting
Jesus.  He even gave back ALL the money
he stole!

So happy for the SUNSHINE!!

Center Time

We are finishing up
on designing our own postcards

By weds we are going to drop them
in the mail

The really fun part is...
We wont know whose
postcard we care going to get.....

I will have our addresses printed on
labels and randomly put them on
each postcard.....
what FUN it will be waiting
to see which postcards comes
to our house

I took each kiddos picture
with whichever postman hat the wanted



be looking for another activity
we will be doing with these pictures

Dominic wanted a picture with his dress

Hank turned his head right
when I snapped the picture....
but he wanted to show me his
cool creation

We really practiced keeping
our feet on the ground
when trying to sit up!!!
