Happy Birthday Leyna!
Leyna is five years old! Happy Birthday! Leyna's mom visited and read a special book to us. We sang "Happy Birthday" and "God's Blessings" and Leyna decorated her birthday crown and birthday lantern!

Chapel With Rupert and Pastor Rouland
Pastor Rouland led chapel. His friend, Rupert the dog, joined him. Rufus was a bit early for Thanksgiving but he talked about all of the things he was thankful for and Pastor Rouland reminded him how these things (our parents, teachers, house, clothes, food, friends..) are all gifts from God and that we should thank God for His blessings. Zoe carried our classroom cross and took up the offering. We also celebrated November Baptismal Birthdays!

Evacuation Drill
The entire Zion school participated in an evacuation drill today. It was just a practice. The police came and crossed off the street for us to evacuate safely.

I observed some wonderful learning taking place today. Zoey and Aavya were weighing vegetables and fruit and talking about which ones were heavier. I saw children writing and Nora was developing language by talking on the phone!

Several friends began making their own book and a few read it to me all by themselves! I am getting some great readers in preschool! Be on the lookout for this book to come home next week!
