Reviewed last weeks story

before Jesus ascended into Heaven

he told the disciples to

go and wait for 

a special helper...

So this week we learned 

who that special helpers is....

THE HOLY SPIRIT

Zippy came to Jesus Time today

( I forgot to snap a picture)

Zippy was a little scared and worried

today. He was playing with his cousin with his favorite toys

in the basement and when they were finished

one toy got accidentally left in the dark basement.

Zippy was worried how he was going

to get it and asked the class to help

him think of a solution.

EVERYONE had great ideas:

from turn on the light

bring a flashlight

pray to Holy Spirit to help you

ask a mom, dad or brother to go with you!!

So many great ideas...

Zippy chose to ask 

his brother to help him.

WHICH is similar to our

Jesus story today.

Jesus promised the disciples He would

send a helper and HE did!

Sang read, read, Read the Bible....

Read the story from the bible

He sent the HOLY SPIRIT

to the room where the disciples were waiting

A great noise happened then tongues

of fire appeared above the disciples

and suddenly they were able to

speak different languages

to communicate with the people around them.

They were able to spread GOD'S WORD and

created 3, 000 believers that day!!

It turned out perfectly!!

We had enough for everyone!!!

And we had such hard workers!!!

We got a lot of work done

BUT still have more to do!!!
