MORNING WORK

 Charleigh started with

making a stable for 

baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph

Ben and Luke

are playing the Christmas Present game

Otto started with play doh

Morning Meeting

Austin got to hold our

stuffed puppy first today...

He was excited

I told the kids how to hold our puppy carefully and that 

if we are holding the puppy w ehave to keep our bodies calm and quiet......

like we would if it was a real baby

He lasted about 2 mins and then said

it was too heavy(it is weighted)......

So he wanted to pass it to the 

person next to him

Rowen was our

EVERYONE came to 

school today!!!

excited to hold our puppy

and did a FABULOUS job caring for him

Today we did round one of VOTING

for the name of our puppy.....

we had lots of ideas... so I just took the ideas

of the friends who are here today to vote

for their suggestions

we used our little wooden people

that we decorated in the beginning of the year

I read each name to 

each of the children and then they

got to choose

So far ZEBRA is winning

Then we did Second Steps.......

We looked at this picture and discussed how each girl

is feeling... we looked at their faces and discussed

why we though they were feeling a certain way......

One girl looks happy and having fun

the other looks scared(or nervous) and NOT having fun

we talked about how we can each feel differently

about the same activity and when you are playing with

friends we need to check in to make sure the are enjoying

the game too

Thne we had time for Tricky Mouse.....
