Zippy came to Jesus Time
Zippy was very tired and yawning...
He told us he was sleepy because
he didn't get enough sleep last night
because he was afraid of the dark..
Many friends commented they
have been afraid of the dark before...
I told the children that many have been
afraid of the dark before and when I am afraid
I like to remember that GOD is always
with me and Ellie added.....
we can pray to God the Holy Spirit and
he can bring us comfort!!!
YES!!! Exactly!!!
I also told the children that
God lights up the sky at night
to help it not be so dark..
Zippy asked how God does
that.......
Children made guesses...
moon, sun, STARS!!!
I then told the children I have a story about a
time when God
really LIT up the
sky!!!
The night Jesus was
born!!!
The sky was filled with stars and
choirs of angels sang and
shared the good news!!!

I worked with small group at a

of what would happen to the
craisin when they put it
in white soda
we drew our predicitions....
we watched what happened
and marked it on our paper....
ASK your child what happened to
the craisins to see if they
remember.....
Dumping, Mixing
and Pouring
Also became
FINGER PAINTING
or just immersing
their hands in the creation(new paint color)
they created.....
Finger painting is a great
way to explore, learn and develop---- a great sensory
activity!!! They LOVED rubbing their
hands all through the
paint and glue, which also
kind of made it sticky!!!
This is a PRE
picture-----
I didn't get a POST of
Foster and Ellie because
they were DRIPPING in
their paint/glue creation
and needed my help...
BUT I am certain they had FUN!!
