We sang
Light one Candle....

Arwen is holding a stuffed puppy
...carefully like a little baby....

I made this weighted stuffed animal (3lbs)from
one of my daughters old stuffies.....
I introduced it to the children today with
showing them how to hold the stuffed puppy carefully
like you would a real baby... support the head...
be gentle and take care of him while we are doing Jesus time.
I think over time this will be good for some of my
wiggle worms to hold and concentrate on caring for our
stuffed animal, while listening to our
Jesus Time Story.
For the first week or so , we are just randomly taking turns holding
him----to be named later----- friends had lots of suggestions--
we will vote later.....
Calvin and Arwen got a turn today

Today's Jesus Time story
we learned how
Mary and Joseph had to travel to another
town and while
they were there it was
time for Jesus to be born.
When they arrived to town, there were
NO INNS that had any room
so Mary and Jospeh stayed in
a stable---this is where our
SAVIOR was born!

Our helpers for today.....

Otto was our gate keeper
