Morning Work
we are making cards for the
family who had the fire
Ben chose to make a card
first
Luke is playing
a Turkey Game...
There are numbers on each
turkey and you can put that
number of
feathers on each turkey
great for number recognition
counting
and fine motor(the feathers are glued to
clothes pins and the children need to pinch
to attach the feathers)
Lincoln is using
the wooden circles putting
them on the pegs
this is a great fine motor
activity as well as counting
or encouraging the children
to make patterns
Colton joined
Lincoln
Ben came and played the
turkey feather game
Build a Leaf Creation

Zippy came today
Zippy was a little
frustrated because he felt
like he has LOTS of rules every
where he goes
HOME
SCHOOL
SOCCER
SCHOOL
SOCCER
etc...
He said he wished he could just do whatever he wanted
whenever he wanted...
we talked about how we might all feel that way
sometimes BUT if everyone did
what they wanted whenever they wanted....
things wouldn't work very well
People would be unfair and not take turns.
The children knew we have rules to keep us
safe and help things be fair.
I told them the talk we had with Zippy reminds me of
a bible story
The story of the
10 Commandments
NEXT we practiced for Advent
And practiced BELLS
The children are doing great!
