All my friends came to school every

day this week!!!!

Zero friends NOT at school

9 friends AT school!!

Lincoln was our

invocation leader

Zippy came for our

Jesus Time today

Zippy talked about how his

favorite food was

Chicken Nuggets and French Fries

He was So excited when he got it on Monday

but then he ended up with the same food

(surprises from different family members

who knew it was his favorite meal)

After the 3rd day, he was tired of eating the

same thing...even though it was a special treat

from someone... he wasn't feeling very thankful and complained

about having to eat it 3 days in the row

This reminded me of a story

in the bible

After Moses and the Israelites

were free they started to complain that they were hungry,

so God provided...food for them

Quail and Manna

but after awhile the people started to complain about eating the

same thing everyday!!!

God wants us to be thankful for what we

have, even if it isn't want we want!

We need to say thank you for our houses, clothing 

and food we have in our houses and to remember to 

thank our parents for taking good care of us!

Second Steps

We looked at this card of this

We talked about how Sara is feeling

and how do we know she is feeling

SAD

her eyes are looking down

her mouth is turned down

We will take a look at more emotion cards

to decide how people are feeling and then

it will help us with our friends and understanding how

they maybe feeling

children lasted longer than I thought they would

Definitely that time of year to be sure to be

sending a winter coat, hats and gloves

I had a few friends that

still needed to finish their

name/math activity

We are starting

 a "feelings"self portrait

over the last few weeks

I have been asking the children

what makes them feel....happy, sad, excited, 

etc.......

now we are looking in mirrors and I am encouraging the

children to look at hair, eye color and clothing

and draw what they see.......
