HAPPY DAY!!!!!!
All 16 friends came to school
today!!!!!
Today is chapel so we jumped to
talking about our
surprise vistor
A REAL FIREFIGTHER!!
Colton's dad
We talked about the questions
we already thought of and then
thought of a few more.....
LOTS OF QUESTIONS
And a few more
OUTSIDE TIME

I asked Colton to
introduce our
special guest
His DAD
Our Expert
A real Firefighter
The children did such an
AMAZING job today!!
And Colton's dad did an AMZING job
talking with the
preschoolers
He showed us his gear
and taught us to NOT be afraid
of firemen with all their gear on...
he said if you ever are
in a fire and see a firefighter
DO NOT run from
them..they are there to help!
He taught us.... EVERYONE
SHOULD ALWAYS sleep with
their doors closed!! Helps stop the spread of the fire!
Also, the children remembered (we read about this) we should
feel a door before opening it...
if it is hot do NOT open it!!
Find another way out...
ALSO, make lots of noise and scream for
help in case your parents
are still sleeping!
Also, open a window and call for help
if your bedroom door is hot!
Everyone should have
a specific spot to g o to
each time... like we do at school. Have a special
meeting spot ,,, like neighbors
driveway, your mailbox, etc..
HE showed us how quickly
he can get his gear on...
It was super fast!!!
Cecilia was NOT so sure
of our guest, but Colton's dad
did such a great job of talking
with her to make her more comfortable
What a cool AXE, multi-purpose tool
It does so many things!!!
Trying to tackle the MANY
questions the children came up with
Some stayed to try on
the gear......
