Hannah and Nora playing with the

Mason was our attendance helper

YAY!!!!!!
Everyone was at school
AGAIN today!!!!

We LOVE days when all our
 friends are here!!!!
Nora was our Invocation helper
Today Zippy helped with

Jesus Time

Zippy was a little sad and felt worried
he was attending a birthday party,
which was something new for him!
He was WORRIED about
what to wear, who to play with, and what
he would eat!!

Then talking about Zippy feeling worried
brought on LOTS of conversation

We had a really great discussion about
feeling worried and the children shared LOTS of examples
of times they felt worried!!

We then went back to Zippy
I talked about things Zippy can do to help him not feel worried

One is PRAY!
We can ask for God to comfort us!!
God wants us to turn our worries over to Him!!!

Next instead of going outside

since it was POURING

We listened to Rainy Day Songs and Nursery Rhymes

Nursery Rhymes are silly sometimes
BUT also very beneficial

Nursery Rhymes promotes social skills,
language development and hearing
rhythms helps children listen for sounds
which will help them learn to read!

THEN we danced to
The Rollercoaster Song

And freeze dance

STORY TIME
Cameron was our weather helper

Hannah our prayer leader
Colton was our snack manager

SNACK
More snack
Nora was our teacher assistant
The children are doing

great "reading" our environmental print

ENVIRONMENTAL PRINT

we are trying to figure out the best

way to share our environmental print

Today I had Matthew hold it up

and show his friends and then

call on someone who could

"read" it.

Yesterday we put it up as soon as the children came to

school and then pointed to them later in the day....

Matthew brought in some environmental
print today

Cameron shared a picture of him

holding 3 of chicks he brought to

school last week!! WOW!!! Look at how big they

already are!!!

We then passed the picture around

the circle so everyone could look at it

a little closer
 CENTER TIME

Mrs Koenen stayed in the classroom with the children

during center time and I was right out in the hall

working on end of year assessments with individual children

Addie was our Superintendent

Nathaniel was Yoga
Instructor

He chose Owl Pose

Claire was our exercise leader
She chose Arm Circles
Prayer Requests
