Favorite Animal Day

Morning work

Jemma told me she loved this
game and wants it for her
birthday
or
Christmas

Mason was our attendance helper

2 friends NOT at school
13 friends AT school

Charlie was invocation leader

we reviewed what happen
right before Jesus Ascended into
heaven

Jesus promised He would
send the disciples a
helper

The Holy Spirit

The children have learned this story SO
well and were able to tell it back to me

The RAIN STOPPED!!

So we went to the ship

playground to run around

and be close to our room in case

it started back up

Jemma and Hazel
thought they found a
bird foot print
on the table

Nathaniel's job today was sit by the

teacher. Wyatt brought this super soft

stuffed animal in, who sat in the SIT BY THE

TEACHER chair when he wasn't being cuddled with

because he was too big for the cubby.

And Wyatt was so kind to let Nathaniel cuddle with

it during story time!

SWEET FRIENDS!
I read the story How to

Put the an Octopus to Bed

we made predictions of
will this story be fiction
or
non-fiction

The majority said FICTION but
one person said a little of both
because an Octopus is real....we just don't put
them to bed.....

Then several friends agreed with that
way of thinking

Nora was weather helper

Charlie was prayer leader
Colton Snack Manager

SNACK
And of course Animal Crackers for Dress like your favorite

animal day
Mason was kind to a friend

after snack and got to

put his name on the kindness chart
Cameron was our teacher assistant

and got to point to our environmental print

Nora brought some

environmental print to share

We grabbed our stuffed animals

and our books and found a comfy

spot ...... the BIG kids were on

their way.....

Mrs Crenshaw's 7th grade has arrived

Charlie asked for my daughter, Emma

πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’™

This was just the sweetest....

The Big kids DID great and

the preschoolers LOVED it!!

They were doing SO great and reading

so quietly.... QUIET as it can be with 13 preschoolers

and 20 7th graders... we loss track of time!
it was just SO sweet!

Singing SONGS about our
stuffed animals

PLAYING A GAME WITH
OUR STUFFED ANIMALS

Everyone put their stuffed animal
in the middle and then closed their
eyes. I took 1 animal and hid it in a bag and
they had to guess
which animal was missing.

They did such a great
job with this...not only could they tell
us which animal was missing they would say
Jemma's Unicorn
Claire's Sloth
etc........

I was very impressed!

we did finish with prayer but we didn't write any
down today.....

Some of the children were disappointed we
ran out of time for centers. I talked to them about all
the other fun things we got to do instead. And that I know
they really like to do centers, but today was
special and we got to do things we don't normal get to do
and we can do centers tomorrow.
Everyone seemed ok after we talked and played
the stuffed animal game.

DISAPPOINTMENT is hard and it is
hard to watch a child be disappointed, but
it is also good to learn that sometimes things don't go
the way you planned BUT it
is still OK!
