When we first started our 

planting project

Nathaniel asked if we could 

do mystery planting

SO ironically enough

I found this bag of seeds

in my junk draw at home

I really have no idea what they are

or if they will even grow

BUT

we will find out......

We love Mysteries and experimenting in this 

class, so it should be fun!!

Everyone got to help plant a seed

Not everyone was sure, but everyone but one friend

tried it... it tasted just like .... KALE😂😂😂😂

I am impressed we grew something the class could eat!

One friend even suggested I give out more

during snack

Next Carson got to share his

findings with the class

Aiden shared his finding of the caterpillars

NEXT we looked at pictures of SPRING TREES

Then we got clipboards

and crayons and went to observe the trees

(which weren't as bloomed as I had hoped)

Mila was our weather helper

Windy and Rainbow are tied right now

we are trying to guess which WEATHER will have the 

most by the end of the month

Carson was Prayer Leader

Charlie was Snack Manager

Wyatt was our teacher assistant

Friends are really doing a nice job estimating

Next I told the class we were going to have a visitor who

was bringing something special to our classroom

I told them it was going to have it be a surprise

but I gave them one clue

Friends who wanted to got

to hold them......

not everyone did hold them

but I think everyone at least petted

the chicks!!

The children LOVED it!

and several were talking about how much FUN it was

and Wyatt said, " This was the BEST day yet at school!!"
