Morning Work

I have lots of old class lists and have them out for

scrap paper... Charlie likes to mark off who is here

so I suggested he look at the HELPER CHART name tags

so he can figure out who is here

Morning Meeting

we talked about all the things we wanted

to know before we started

our space project

and answered the questions we could

(some of the question may have required the help

of google🤣🤣🤣)

OUTSIDE TIME:

LOTS OF FUN WITH THE BAMBOO

today! Trying to see if we can get our bodies

down the slide without

touching the bamboo

Aiden told me he was a mechanic

then he asked me, " Do you know why there is CAN

in mechanic?"

I said, " NO, why?"

His reply, " Because

they can open cans!"

Charlie 1st made another space ship with 

his bamboo! Then decided to make a boat!

Aiden made a ladder to get up on the tire

Luke worked hard at created this "bank"

others began joining in

Lots of friends trying to crawl under without

touching the bamboo

Nursery Rhymes are so great for

beginning readers!!!  They are easy to remember, follow a pattern and

  sequence of events which makes it easy

to memorize!

The children LOVED this book today!

Leo helped with the librarian job today

Charlie was our weather helper

Then he helped with prayer leader

He did a fabulous job of

leading prayer without me

prompting!! He knew the whole prayer!!

Carly was sit by the teacher

and also helped with snack manager

To add a little more challenge for everyone

I had each child pick out a letter

then write it on our board

Lots of children like having turns in this

blue "nest"... a big bucket with a big bean bag and

a fidget blanket

MAT MAN

such a cute song

it helps children learn body awareness

and prepares us for drawing

a self portrait

After we listened to the song through one time

the children got to participate

A few friends needed to finish up activities

that they may have missed

throughout the week

A few needed to do their tree observation

A few needed to do self portraits

A few needed to do galaxy jars

Charlie decided to make a boat inside

after trying to make one with the bamboo

NOW to see if Charlie's boat floats

IT DID!!! But the glue wasn't totally dry and it came apart

After prayer we had a little extra time

so we use the instruments!!!
