We talk A LOT about feelings

and learning to identify feelings

and then what to do when we are

feeling a certain way

I asked the class to look at this picture

and decide how this boy, Michael is feeling

We then made Happy faces

And sad faces

Lots of really good sad faces....

then we went back to the picture

the class had great thoughts on how

Michael was feeling

nervous and scared or worried

Then we talked about things we can do if we feel worried

We mostly do Mystery Bag on Mondays

So it was fun for our Tuesday group 

to have a chance to experience Mystery Bag

I showed pictures of words that beginning with our new letter

CENTER TIME

we are going to start having play doh for a center time choice

the children can go get their own container and bring it to the table when

they want to use play doh

Leo and Brody started working on this tall tower

watch as it progresses

It got so big they had to lay it down

SO... the boys wanted to see if they could stand

the tall tower up SO we go lots of helping hands

and tried to stand it up

we tried several different times, but it continued to break in the middle

I think the children are going to try again tomorrow......
