We begin each Jesus Time with the Invocation
Today I introduced it....

We begin in the name of God the Father
(put one finger up)
Children then say:  Who created us
Then I say
In the name of God the Son
( make a cross)
Children then say....
Who died for us
Lastly I say and in the name of
God the Holy Spirit
(Hug ourselves)
And the children say
Who comforts us
This is our puppet
Zippy who sometimes helps with Jesus Time
Some children are unsure of puppets
so I took the time to go around to each child
I explain that Zippy is just made from material
not real... if he talks and moves.. it is just me..
Anyone who wanted to could touch and look at Zippy and Zippy said Hello to each child
Today Zippy was a little sad and "crying"
Zippy was sad because he felt different from other children
He has blue hair and is little.
We talked about how everyone in our room is made a little different..
different colored eyes, hair, tall or short BUT that we are made perfectly by GOD.
God does not make mistakes so each one of us is just perfect the way we are!
Next I showed ta few things I wanted them to know about each center.
I started with Art. I showed the the children all of our recycling that can be used
for CREATIONS!!

I should have taken an after picture of our recycle box.... as it is almost empty..
Lots of creating happened during Center Time!
Next we learned how to use the art easel
And the block area.
With blocks we talked about just getting out the amount of blocks you
need and when its time to clean up
putting each block back in the correct basket
We also starting to learn about jobs and taking picture
for our job chart

This will be our background for our bulletin board
Everyone was excited to use the
art easel too!
Dominic decided to take a few mins. to himself
and use our calming corner.
I think he just wanted to try it out and read a book
Prayer Time
We say thank you Jesus for...
and the children each get a turn choosing what they
are thankful for
